BEWARE OF SCAMS

Criminals are using the #COVID19 pandemic to scam the public – don’t become a victim. Criminals are experts at impersonating, they spend hours.

RECREATION GROUND PLAY AREA
The Play Area has been closed due to Government advice that this should be done to help prevent the spread of the virus. Inspections can not be carried out. Please do not attempt to use the equipment.

BIN COLLECTIONS
Info from the Borough Council Website:
Due to staff being required to isolate themselves, because of COVID-19, there have been some delays to waste and recycling bin collections
Should your waste or recycling bin not be emptied on the usual day, please leave it out as we will try to collect it within the following few days.
Garden waste (brown bin) collections will be suspended for the week commencing 23 March 2020. We hope to find a solution to reinstate these collections but further driver and staff shortages are expected over the coming weeks. Please follow our social media channels for updates.
Can we please remind you not to put garden waste in the black or green bin. We do not collect extra waste put beside the bin. You could store garden waste in the garden until the Recycling Centres run by Norfolk County Council re-open, or when brown bin collections resume. Or for tips on how to start composting, please visit the Norfolk Recycles website.
